2026 Scholarships

Secure a Free Program Kit for Your School or Organization

Bring the Folktellers for Literacy experience to your classroom or library—at no cost. Each scholarship awards one free program kit (supports up to 30 students) to a qualifying school or organization. Multiple schools may receive scholarships, but each school is limited to one scholarship. (For example, if your school has four classes that wish to participate, only one class can participate for free.)

Note: Each kit supports up to 30 students. Multiple kits may be required for larger groups.

Inside the Kit:

• 30 award-winning children’s novels
• Full Excerpts from an Unknown Guidebook series (Books 1–7)
• Participant awards, bookmarks, red carpet runner, and program guide

Students read, reflect through bibliotherapy, then write and film original 2–3 minute movie trailers. Top entries premiere on the big screen at Emagine Theaters with celebrity judges and a red-carpet celebration in June 2026.

Timeline:

• Open Enrollment: November 3, 2025 until January 10, 2026
